Randa joins Vitera Healthcare

Kermit Randa has joined Vitera Healthcare Solutions in the new position of executive VP of sales and marketing.

Randa, 45, started in the new role on Feb. 9 and comes from Surgical Information Systems, where he was COO for the anesthesia and perioperative software solutions company.

“Kermit understands the challenges and opportunities facing office-based practitioners, and will help Vitera extend our role as an even more trusted advisor to physician practices,” Matthew Hawkins, Vitera CEO, said in a release.

Tampa, Fla.-based Vitera provides ambulatory electronic health records and practice management solutions for more than 400,000 healthcare professionals. The company, which added more than 300 new employees this year, also recently released a mobile app that provides clinical and practice information.

“The future holds endless opportunity for Vitera, and Kermit's experience will be invaluable as we continue to advance our technology platform,” Hawkins said.
