Laureto named CIO at ProMedica

ProMedica has announced the appointment of Rose Ann Laureto as CIO for the Toledo, Ohio-based not-for-profit system, according to a news release.

Laureto, 56, is the former CIO at UNC Health Care and has more than 30 years' experience in healthcare information technology. She replaced Dave Selman at ProMedica.

ProMedica also named Karen Strauss chief marketing, strategic planning and communications officer. She is the former president of Masco Cabinetry, Ann Arbor, Mich.
