Yes, why were no living, breathing “people” on trial here? There absolutely were human beings that directed this grand larceny and others who executed it.
Prosecute WakeMed execs
They all should be charged under RICO. If a nurse attendant had been caught falsifying her shift hours, she would be prosecuted and jailed. Until the executives and managers responsible for this organized fraud spend some time behind bars, this will never stop. Start with CEO Bill Atkinson.
