Welcome to Modern Healthcare's annual ranking of the 50 Most Influential Physician Executives and Leaders. The program honors physicians working in the healthcare industry who are deemed by their peers and an expert panel to be the most influential in terms of demonstrating leadership and impact.
Eligibility:
Nominees must currently be working as a physician executive within the healthcare industry.Process:
- To nominate, complete the form accessed by the link at the top of this page
- Once completed you will receive a confirmation email with the rules and deadlines of the program for your records.
- From all nominations submitted, before the annual deadline, a ballot consisting of the top 100 nominees will be presented for Modern Healthcare readers' consideration.
- The top 50 nominees (50% coming from user voting and 50% from Modern Healthcare editors) will make up the final ranking.
Deadline:
We accept nominations for this annual awards program continually and will hold a nomination for a period of up to three years, dependent on the nominee still qualifying for the award. The nomination deadline for the 2014 program was December 13, 2013.Deadlines for the 2015 awards will be published in the fourth quarter of 2014. Entries for those awards may be made prior to that announcement as detailed above.
Notification:
The final ranking will be published in the May 12, 2014 issue of Modern Healthcare.Event:
