Send nominations for CEO IT Achievement Awards

Modern Healthcare is seeking nominations for the 11th annual CEO IT Achievement Awards competition.

The 2013 award, co-sponsored by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, honors one or more healthcare industry CEOs who demonstrate leadership and commitment to using information technology to advance their organizations' goals. CEOs from healthcare organizations, including hospitals, health systems, health insurers, physician groups, clinics and post-acute-care providers, are eligible for the award. CEOs from healthcare vendors and suppliers are not eligible.

Entries can be submitted starting Jan. 14 by visiting modernhealthcare.com/ceoit or the HIMSS website at www2.himss.org/ceoit. The submission deadline is March 21. A panel of CEOs and CIOs will judge the competition. Modern Healthcare will announce the winner or winners in the April 15 issue of Modern Healthcare, and award recipients will be profiled in a special section of the June 10 issue.
