Ed Micaletti has been named director of business process management solutions, healthcare and commercial, by Anacomp, a Chantilly, Va.-based document management and information services company.
Micaletti's role in the newly created position will be to adapt the company's business process and document management offerings to the private sector, “particularly hospitals, medical offices and similar healthcare organizations,” according to a news release.
Micaletti previously served as senior vice president of healthcare imaging systems at IOD, a developer of release-of-information and other health information management software; as vice president of EDCO/SolCom, healthcare document management companies now merged as EDCO Health Information Solutions; and as president of First National Information Solutions/First National Bank of Omaha, according to the release.
Micaletti brings “a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry to Anacomp,” said CEO Thomas Cunningham, in the news release. “Ed was the ideal choice to lead our efforts in growing our presence beyond the public sector, especially in the large and fast-growing healthcare industry.”
