MedSpring Urgent Care announced the planned opening of two new facilities in the Chicago suburbs.
The openings mark Austin, Texas-based MedSpring's first foray outside of Texas and will give the company 13 centers. MedSpring plans to open the centers in December in Arlington Heights and Naperville, Ill., according to a news release.
"We are excited to arrive in Chicago, bringing a convenient, comfortable and cost-effective alternative to the emergency room," said MedSpring CMO Dr. Jon Belsher in the release.
The centers, which offer scheduled appointments in addition to walk-in service, will feature digital X-ray and lab facilities and will have doctors on-site from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week, according to the release.
