St. David's South Austin (Texas) Medical Center named Daniel Huffine CFO, taking over the slot previously filled by Wes Fountain, who was named CFO of St. David's North Austin Medical Center and St. David's Round Rock Medical Center in July.

Huffine, 43, will transition out of his current position sometime this month as division controller for the Central and West Texas Division of HCA, which includes St. David's South Austin parent St. David's HealthCare, according to a news release.
“Dan has an exemplary track record and a proven history of responsible financial management,” said Todd Steward, CEO of St. David's South Austin Medical Center, in the release.
