Gentiva Health Services, Atlanta, has acquired Family Home Care Corp., a home health and hospice provider in Spokane, Wash.
Financial terms were not disclosed, but Gentiva said in a news release that it will fund the deal from its cash reserves and the acquisition is not expected to materially affect earnings.
Family Home Care has operations in Washington and Idaho, and will boost Gentiva’s market share in those states, the release said.
The transaction follows Gentiva’s July purchase of Advocate Hospice, Danville, Ind. The company said at the time it will continue to pursue acquisitions to expand its territory while also focusing on debt repayment.
