Susan Croushore will leave her job as president and CEO of Christ Hospital in Cincinnati after nearly 10 years in the role, though she plans to remain a senior adviser to the hospital through the end of the year.
Croushore, 58, who was named to Modern Healthcare's Top 25 Women in Healthcare list in 2009, announced to employees (PDF) that she intends to leave the hospital effective Sept. 3. A hospital spokeswoman said the departure came through mutual agreement between Croushore and the board of directors.
Mike Keating, a member of the hospital's board of directors, will serve as president and CEO of the 525-bed hospital, according to a statement. Keating will also serve on the search committee for Croushore's successor.
