CareSouth buys home care company
Alliance Care's operations in 11 Florida cities, including Jacksonville and Ft. Lauderdale, have been redubbed CareSouth Homecare Professionals, and the for-profit company said it will retain most former Alliance Care employees with plans to expand the workforce in the near future. “Our solid financial position allows us to take an aggressive approach to growth through development, partnerships and acquisitions," said Rick Griffin, CareSouth president and CEO, in the release. “Naturally, when we grow our markets across the country, our support services will also grow, meaning more jobs here in the Augusta community.”
CareSouth provides non-acute health services at 55 locations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
