Richard Garnick has resigned as CEO of Dallas-based health information technology and business processes outsourcer Anthelio, in what's being described as “an amicable and mutually agreed upon process,” the company has announced.

Garnick will take on a new position as senior adviser to the company, reporting to the board of directors, according to a company statement.
Company co-founder, board member and Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer Rick Kneipper will assume the duties of interim CEO as a search for a permanent CEO occurs, while fellow board member David White has been named executive chairman. White is the founder, and former CEO and chairman of Iasis Healthcare, Franklin, Tenn.
