WellStar Health System, Marietta, Ga., has made two executive appointments.
The healthcare group named Kem Mullins (PDF) senior vice president and president of WellStar Cobb Hospital, Austell, Ga., effective April 23. Mullins replaces Randy Cook, who is now VP of WellStar's Behavioral Health and Medicine service lines.
Mullins, 39, was previously CEO of Tenet Healthcare Corp.'s St. Francis Hospital-Bartlett, Memphis, Tenn. Before that, he served as COO for Atlanta Medical Center and Tenet's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark. He was also an associate administrator for University Medical Center, Lebanon, Tenn., and Williamson (W.Va.) Memorial Hospital.
