Press Ganey Associates tapped Patrick Ryan, the former leader of the Broadlane Group, as CEO.
Ryan named CEO at Press Ganey
Ryan, 53, was the chairman and CEO of the Broadlane Group when it was acquired by MedAssets in 2010. He then served as a director and president of spend management before leaving Alpharetta, Ga.-based MedAssets in May.
Before joining the Broadlane Group, Ryan was the CEO of PolyMedica Corp., a direct-to-consumer provider of blood glucose testing supplies owned by Liberty Medical, according to a Press Ganey news release. He also previously served as CEO of Physicians Dialysis, a network of dialysis clinics acquired by DaVita.
Ryan replaces Richard Siegrist Jr. as CEO of Press Ganey Associates, a South Bend, Ind.-based healthcare performance-improvement firm.
Siegrist stepped down as CEO in July when he was named to the newly created position of chief innovation officer. Since then, Press Ganey President and CFO Robert Draughon served as interim CEO.
