Summit (N.J.) Medical Group named Dr. Jeffrey Le Benger to oversee daily operations of the physician practice, effective immediately.

Dr. Simon Samaha, former president and CEO of Summit, will continue as an adviser, according to a news release. Samaha will participate in the leadership transition through April 1, according to a news release.
Le Benger, chairman of the medical group’s board of directors, “will be engaged in the daily oversight of operations at the group, with the support of the board of directors,” a spokeswoman said in an e-mail.
