Systems Made Simple hired Christopher Roberts as CFO, a newly created position at the Syracuse, N.Y.-based provider of health IT systems.
Roberts, 57, most recently served as CFO at Integral Systems, a Columbia, Md.-based provider of satellite ground systems. He has also held positions at Laguna Ventures, Pearson Analytic Solutions and PixSell.
Systems Made Simple CEO Ron Fishbeck said in a news release that Roberts' experience with financial advising, management and government-contract accounting made him a fit.
In November, Systems Made Simple named Dr. Viet Nguyen to the newly created position of chief medical information officer.
