Adventist Health, a 17-hospital system based in Northern California, has named Dag Jakobsen to a newly created role as vice president and COO of physician services, according to an Adventist news release.
Adventist names Jakobsen doc-services VP
Jakobsen, 45, will work in Adventist Health's central offices in Roseville, Calif., overseeing physician services operations, including rural health clinics, hospital-based practices, employed physicians and doctors who are members of the Adventist Health Physicians Network, according to the release.
Previously, Jakobsen worked for medical-group revenue-cycle consulting firm PivotHealth, where he was retained for seven years as the COO of Catholic Healthcare West's medical foundation, deploying electronic health-record systems and overseeing construction of 20 outpatient medical office buildings.
