Thomas Rekart and Scott Ray have been hired as senior vice presidents of the TriZetto Group, a Denver-based provider of health information technology software.
TriZetto names senior VPs
Rekart, 57, is the new senior vice president of business management services and will direct activities involving billing claims processing and enrollment. He previously was executive vice president and East Region president at HealthSpring after that company's acquisition last November of Bravo Health, where Rekart was COO. Before that, Rekart held executive posts for UnitedHealth Group and CareFirst, according to a TriZetto news release.
Ray, 48, is the new senior vice president of application management services and will lead activities involving application hosting such as infrastructure, connectivity, delivery and security. He previously worked as vice president of global operations for SunGard Availability Services and led the launch of its Enterprise Cloud Services, according to the release.
TriZetto has also recently hired Pierre Samec as its new executive vice president and chief technology officer, and named president and CEO Trace Devanny as its new chairman, replacing company founder Jeff Margolis.
