Detroit Medical Center promoted Shawn Levitt as the system's new senior vice president and chief nursing officer.
Levitt promoted to CNO at Detroit Medical Center
Levitt, 48, will replace Pat Natale who retires at the end of the year after 30 years with six-hospital DMC. Levitt’s age was not provided.
“Shawn is strategic, vision driven, and demonstrates that DMC attracts the best, the brightest and the most committed,” DMC President and CEO Michael Duggan said in a news release.
Levitt spent four years as COO at DMC’s Children’s Hospital of Michigan, the 219-bed facility in Detroit. She also served as DMC’s corporate director of medical and academic affairs.
