Radius Health, a manufacturer of drug therapies targeting osteoporosis, named Dr. Louis Brenner chief medical officer.
Radius names Brenner CMO
Brenner's appointment was one of several announced by Cambridge, Mass.-based Radius; the company also announced that Michael Wyzga will succeed the retiring C. Richard Lyttle as president and CEO and that board member Kurt Graves was elected chairman of the board.
Brenner joins Radius from AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Lexington, Mass., where he served as senior vice president, according to a news release. Previously, he held senior management positions at Cambridge-based Genzyme Corp. At the Sanofi-owned company, he focused on developing and commercializing treatments for metabolic bone disease, according to the release. His age was unavailable at deadline.
