Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine International and Credicorp finalized the partnership Dec. 2., according to a news release.
Credicorp is a Peruvian financial services holding company that owns Pacifico Peruano Suiza, a Lima-based subsidiary that operates as a health insurer in Peru. In the past year, Creditcorp acquired two private hospitals, a provider of house-call services and multiple healthcare clinics, according to a Credicorp news release.
Work is expected to begin in January when Johns Hopkins will provide an assessment of the hospitals and a gap analysis of the healthcare facilities.
