Forerun, Waltham, Mass., has purchased substantially all of the assets of fellow emergency department clinical information systems company Emergisoft, Arlington, Texas, for an undisclosed amount.
Forerun buys Emergisoft assets
As part of the deal, Jordan Davis, Emergisoft's CEO, will become vice president of sales for Forerun and will take on responsibility for commercial operations, according to a Forerun news release (PDF). Godson Menezes, chief technology officer for Emergisoft, will become director of operations, reporting to Anthony Pilozzi, vice president of operations.
Emergisoft's Arlington office will remain open as a regional development and customer support center.
Emergisoft, in addition to serving traditional emergency rooms, is one of the innovators in serving the cruise industry's onboard clinics.
