Ambulatory Services of America has acquired Renal CarePartners, a Hollywood, Fla.-based dialysis services provider, for undisclosed terms.

Renal CarePartners owns and manages 17 dialysis centers in eight states and Puerto Rico, and operates two home hemodialysis programs and an acute dialysis program used by nine hospitals, according to a news release. The dialysis provider also plans to open two new centers.
"We became interested in Renal CarePartners as we learned about its physician-centered joint-venture model, which is much like ours," said Ambulatory Services of America CEO Timothy Martin in the release.
Ambulatory Services of America is a Brentwood, Tenn.-based healthcare services company that owns, operates and manages facilities for dialysis services and radiation oncology services. Including Renal CarePartners' properties, the company will own and provide management services to 62 dialysis centers in 13 states, Guam and Puerto Rico.
Ambulatory Services of America opened four dialysis facilities in the Los Angeles area in August.
