Humana, Louisville, Ky., agreed to purchase senior home-care provider SeniorBridge Family Cos., New York, for an undisclosed amount, according to a Humana news release.

SeniorBridge has about, 1,500 care managers and 44 offices across the country and is expected to report revenue of $72 million in 2011, according to Humana.
The deal is subject to state and federal regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first half of 2012.
Earlier this month, Humana named former McKesson executive Bruce Broussard president with the expectation he would succeed Mike McCallister as CEO within the next year and a half.
