The CMS selected Edaptive Systems, an Owings Mills, Md.-based health information technology company, to improve the search capabilities of its website for internal and external users, according to an Edaptive news release.
Edaptive to work on CMS Data Navigator
The assignment, initiated under an existing contract with the CMS, is known as the Data Navigator project. The development of such portal and Web-based applications is a technical focus of the company, which provides IT services to commercial and federal organizations.
The company already manages for the CMS more than $500 million in contractor work, according to the release. This month, Edaptive announced it had won a $40 million Center Submission Tracking and Reporting contract from the FDA to maintain and upgrade FDA data systems.
