Mediware Information Systems, a publicly traded healthcare software company, will begin a national search to replace CFO Michael Martens, who announced he will step down in February.
Mediware CFO to step down
According to a Mediware news release, Martens is leaving to "rejoin a former employer." Martens joined Mediware, Lenexa, Kan., in September 2009 from Euronet Worldwide, where he was CFO for the money transfer division. Before that he worked for Cerner Corp., Sprint and PriceWaterhousecoopers, according to Mediware. A spokesman declined to say which company Martens would join. Martens' age was not available at deadline.
