Computer Sciences Corp. will continue to provide information technology support services to the National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine under the terms of a recently issued task order.
CSC wins IT task order from NIH
The task order has a base period of one year and two option years, with a total value of around $25 million, according to a CSC news release. Falls Church, Va.-based CSC originally was awarded the contract in 2000.
The National Library of Medicine, located in Bethesda, Md., is the world's largest biomedical library, according to the release. CSC and IT service management provider AAC, Vienna, Va., will provide desktop systems support and security, infrastructure protection and information assurance and application development, among other services.
