Indiana University Health named Dr. Jeff Sperring president and CEO of its Riley Hospital for Children, Indianapolis.
Sperring named CEO at Riley Hospital for Children
Sperring assumes the job from Marilyn Cox, who had served the role on an interim basis. She'll return as chief nursing officer and senior vice president for nursing and patient care services at Riley.
Sperring, 42, joined IU Health in 2002 and worked as director of the pediatric hospitalist program for the system's Methodist's Children's Pavilion, which is part of the Riley Children's Health Partnership. He then served as associate chief medical officer at Riley before being appointed the hospital's chief medical officer in 2009.
