Workers have broken ground on a $12.8 million medical office building that will house North Fulton Hospital's pain management clinic and imaging center in Roswell, Ga.
Work begins on Ga. clinic
Officials expect the building to open in fall 2012. The three-story, 54,000-square-foot building will be built on a 3-acre site across from the 196-bed hospital's main entrance. Developer Duke Realty, which delved into the healthcare industry in 2007, will manage and own the facility.
The building will feature "spa-like design elements" and expects to be LEED-certified. Beyond the pain clinic and imaging center, other physicians and healthcare practices will maintain space in the building, according to an e-mailed news release from Duke Realty.
