Grant Thornton International has acquired the health solutions division of Computer Technology Associates, a Rockville, Md.-based information technology consulting and development company.

Terms of the deal, which includes five military healthcare contracts, are not being disclosed, according to a Grant Thornton spokeswoman. According to a news release from Alexandria, Va.-based consultancy Grant Thornton, the contracts include work on the TMA Supplemental Health Care Program and the Defense Health Board as well as management and executive support for the Defense Centers of Excellence Program. Stephen Casey will join Grant Thornton from Computer Technology Associates, where he served as executive vice president for the health solutions division.
