Global Health Voyager, a Beverly Hills, Calif.-based medical tourism company, said it completed the asset acquisition of PlanetHospital from the Healthcare International Network.
Global Health Voyager completes PlanetHospital deal
The publicly traded company did not disclose the financial terms of the deal when it announced the acquisition in September.
PlanetHospital provides medical tourism services outside of the U.S. to American customers. Rudy Rupak, PlanetHospital’s founder and CEO, will lead the PlanetHospital operations within Global Health Voyager, according to a news release.
The PlanetHospital unit provides services that facilitate access to medical procedures for its clients, who include individuals, self-insured employers and third-party intermediaries. Procedures include cosmetic surgery, hip replacements and stem cell therapy.
