University of Southern California Health has hired University of California San Diego Health System CEO Thomas Jackiewicz as its new senior vice president and CEO.
Jackiewicz, 53, will start at USC in the newly created post on Jan. 1 in Los Angeles and will report to President C.L. Max Nikias. He's served as CEO of UCSD since 2009, when he took over for Richard Liekweg. He also worked as the associate vice chancellor. He joined USCD in 2001, and also served as CFO and associate vice chancellor of finance and administration.
