The Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative, Washington, named Dr. David Nace chairman of the board.
Primary-care group names Nace board chairman
Nace, 53, is based in Philadelphia. He is vice president and medial director of McKesson Health Solutions, a McKesson Corp. business unit based in Newton, Mass., according to a PCPCC news release. Nace succeeds John Crosby as chairman. Crosby is the executive director of the Chicago-based American Osteopathic Association. He'll remain as a board member after the transition as chairman.
Nace also has served as national chief medical officer for Aetna and for UnitedHealth Group's employer behavioral heath businesses. He has worked as a consultant for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia and the United Nations Business Council.
The collaborative consists of more than 800 members who aim to improve the healthcare delivery system and patient health.
