HealthTech Holdings, the Nashville-based firm that owns healthcare information technology firms Healthcare Management Systems, Medhost and Sentry Healthcare Services, has filled two newly created positions on its executive team, according to a news release.
HealthTech adds two positions to executive team
HealthTech hired Alan MacLamroc to be its chief technology officer and Geoff Roten to be its CIO.
MacLamroc, 56, will oversee the development and deployment of new products and ensure the efficient use of the technology resources across HealthTech's portfolio companies. MacLamroc has more than 25 years of experience in leadership positions with technology companies, including CompuCredit, IBM and Sprint.

Roten
Roten, 46, will oversee development of HealthTech's hosting and managed services group, data center operations and internal systems at all portfolio companies. Roten has been a consultant with HMS since 2010 after more than 20 years of working for hospital operators, including Ardent Health Services, Community Health Systems and Province Healthcare Co.
