Analytix acquires IRM, will form new company
The new company is called CentraMed. Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed. Vik Torpnuri, founder and CEO of Irvine-based Analytix, touted IRM's experience with revenue-cycle management and said in a news release that the healthcare industry was at a crossroads. Torpnuri will serve as executive vice president of CentraMed.
“By leveraging the complementary and proven strengths of AOD and IRM, CentraMed is uniquely positioned to offer solutions combining extensive healthcare expertise with a highly sophisticated and affordable (business intelligence) platform that is easy to use and yields fast return on investment,” he said.
