Dr. Tejal Gandhi was named a program director for the Harvard School of Public Health's executive education program Leadership Strategies for Information Technology in Health Care.
Harvard names Gandhi a director of health IT program
Gandhi currently is chief quality and patient safety officer for Partners HealthCare System, Boston, where she has a role in how the system adopts and standardizes patient safety practices, according to Harvard news release announcing her appointment. Gandhi is also an associate professor at Harvard Medical School. She is one of four physicians to direct executive education on four issues. Gandhi will direct education for quality, safety and electronic health records, according to the release. Gandhi's age was unavailable at deadline.
