Med3000, a Pittsburgh-based medical billing and practice management software provider, has hired an executive from Tenet Healthcare Corp., Dallas, to oversee its offerings to accountable care organizations and hospitals, according to a news release.

Med3000 named Jeffery Flocken as a market leader and executive vice president of accountable care and hospital services. Flocken, 58, was a senior vice president for Tenet, overseeing a region that included its California and Nebraska operations from 2007 through April, when Flocken left Tenet. Flocken also has worked for St. Joseph Health System in Orange, Calif.
Flocken will oversee Med3000's accountable care division, which provides software for clinical, operational and financial outcomes for healthcare networks.
