Premier's benefits packages and wellness activities tend to get a “wow” from new employees, Golding says. “One-hundred percent of the time, we'll be better than what they had” in benefits, she says, with the company paying at least 75% of employee and family healthcare, prescription drug, dental and vision premiums.
She adds that Premier partners with the local YMCA to offer 10 on-site exercise classes at no charge to employees and provides walking and running clubs. “The other ‘wow' we get as people get on board is the tremendous wellness opportunities.”
Employees drive an extensive social corporate responsibility program at Premier, choosing causes for which to raise money throughout the organization, Golding says. “There's a lot of positiveness that comes out of it,” she says. “Our inspiration is our employees.”
“The theme there is listening,” Treend adds. “We're listening, through the survey results and otherwise, to build something great together.”
