DiagnosisOne, a Lowell, Mass.-based clinical decision support and analytics company, hired Dr. Francis Campion as vice president of clinical affairs, according to a news release from the company.

Campion, 50, most recently served as director of provider programs for Outcome Sciences, a Cambridge, Mass.-based company that develops and manages patient registries, post-approval studies and quality improvement initiatives, according to the release.
In addition, he has an internal medicine practice at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates' Kenmore practice and is a member of Harvard Medical School's department of population medicine.
In the newly created role at the company, Campion reports to Dr. Fauzia Khan, chief medical officer and co-founder of DiagnosisOne. He is responsible for leading the expansion of DiagnosisOne's content library, which the company has built from content gathered from national quality measures, journals and publications, and physicians, according to the company website.
