Dr. Edwin Rogers, a longtime member of Baptist Medical Group's staff, is the Pensacola, Fla.-based physician organization's new chief medical officer.
Baptist Medical Group names Rogers CMO
Rogers fills a new post that was created after the group grew to more than 100 doctors, according to a Baptist Medical news release. He spent the past 30 years in the Pensacola area and will maintain his cardiology practice while serving in his new role, according to the release. Rogers previously worked with Cardiology Consultants, an affiliate of BMG's parent company, four-hospital Baptist Health Care Corp. in Pensacola. His age was unavailable at deadline.
The physician group has 42 locations serving patients in northwest Florida and south Alabama.
