Hosting.com, a Denver-based provider of cloud hosting services, has acquired Dallas-based critical-data provider NeoSpire. Financial terms of the deal were undisclosed.

Healthcare is one of several key industries for Hosting.com, according to the company's website. Hosting.com offers hosting services and applications designed to help healthcare providers and other organizations achieve compliance with HIPAA privacy and security measures. The company maintains data centers in Dallas; Denver; Irvine, Calif.; Louisville, Ky.; Newark, Del.; and San Francisco. Hosting.com is backed by private-equity firm Pamlico Capital, according to a company news release announcing the deal.
NeoSpire's focus has been hosting "mission-critical" data with a focus on managed security and application hosting, according to the company.
