Computer maker and information technologies provider Dell Corp., Plano, Texas, named Dr. Andrew Litt chief medical officer.
Dell names Litt CMO
Litt, 54, previously ran his own consultant company, Litt Healthcare Ventures, in Garrison, N.Y., according to a Dell news release. He will work with Dell's healthcare solutions business, which aims to help the healthcare industry connect computer systems and share electronic information. Litt will report to August Calhoun, vice president of Dell Healthcare and Life Sciences Services.
Litt, a neuroradiologist, also served as executive vice president, vice dean and chief of staff of New York University Langone Medical Center. He replaces Dr. Harry Greenspun, who left earlier this year to join the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions.
