Swedish company to acquire Atrium Medical
Atrium Medical Corp. will operate as a unit of Maquet Cardiovascular, a device company owned by Getinge Group, which is based in Getinge, Sweden, according to an Atrium news release. Maquet Cardiovascular is based in Wayne, N.J.
Atrium develops interventional cardiology, biosurgery, thoracic drainage, interventional and vascular surgery products and devices. The business unit will be led by Atrium President Trevor Carlton.
