Lantheus Medical Imaging, a provider of diagnostic imaging agents, has promoted Dr. Dana Washburn to chief medical officer.
Lantheus Medical names Washburn CMO
Washburn joined Lantheus in 2010 as vice president of clinical development and medical affairs, according to a news release from the Billerica, Mass.-based company. Previously, he was vice president of clinical trials and safety, and medical safety officer at Boston Scientific Corp. He also has served as assistant director of the cardiovascular hemodynamic and imaging laboratory at Tufts-New England Medical Center, now Tufts Medical Center, in Boston.
In the CMO role, Washburn will lead Lantheus' clinical development, medical affairs and regulatory affairs, according to the release. His age was unavailable at deadline.
