Revenue-cycle management services provider MedAptus, Boston, tapped Dr. Ryan Secan to be the company's chief medical officer.
MedAptus names Secan CMO
Secan, 40, most recently served as a practicing hospitalist at Emerson Hospital, a 170-bed facility in Concord, Mass. He also has held medical director roles for hospitalist programs at 187-bed Lowell (Mass.) General Hospital and 123-bed Anna Jaques Hospital, Newburyport, Mass.
"As a practicing physician with executive experience, Ryan's real-world insight will help us engage even more closely and effectively with our provider user base and their clinical leadership," MedAptus President and COO Larry Hagerty said in a news release. Secan replaces David Delaney, who left the company earlier this year, according to a MedAptus spokeswoman.
