IkaSystems, a cloud-computing company targeting the healthcare payer market, has promoted its president, Joseph Marabito, to CEO and named current CEO and company founder Ravi Ika executive chairman of the board.
IkaSystems shuffles exec team
Current chairman Eran Broshy will step down to take on a normal board slot, according to a news release from Southborough, Mass.-based company. Broshy is a senior adviser at financial firm Providence Equity Partners, which has an investment in the company, according to the firm's website.
Marabito, 52, joined ikaSystems earlier this year, having previously worked for pharmacy benefit manager Medco Health Solutions, where he oversaw consumer-directed healthcare products.
Ika, 50, stated in the release that the company has added more than 100 staff members this year.
