The Ohio Hospital Association has promoted Amy Andres to the position of vice president of data services. She succeeds Dan Paoletti, who was named CEO of the Ohio Health Information Partnership.
Ohio hospital group names Andres data VP
Andres, 44, joined OHA in December 2010 as director of data services; in that role, she oversaw Paoletti while he was serving as OHIP's interim CEO. Andres will now be in charge of the association's data services, information technology, staffing and unemployment compensation departments. She helped found OHIP and serves on its board of directors, according to an OHA news release. Previously she served as a health information technology officer for the state of Ohio. Andres also worked as CIO for the Ohio Department of Education.
Paoletti’s responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, managing federal health information technology grants, and collaborating with doctors, hospitals and healthcare professionals across the state. Previously, Paoletti, 48, served as an OHA vice president and as COO at OHA Solutions.
