Officials from the Cleveland Clinic have hired a new president for the ACMC Healthcare System, which includes Ashtabula County (Ohio) Medical Center, rehab facility Glenbeigh and Ashtabula Regional Home Health.
Habowski hired as president of Ohio system
Michael Habowski, 55, will fill the position starting Sept. 19, according to a Cleveland Clinic news release. He'll replace Joanne Zeroske who has served as interim president. Zeroske continues as president of Euclid (Ohio) Hospital.
Habowski served for seven years as vice president of clinical services at Cleveland Clinic's Marymount and South Pointe hospitals, and most recently worked as vice president of operations at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh. Habowski earned his master's of business administration in administrative management from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, and a bachelor's of science in finance from Albright College in Reading, Penn.
Ashtabula County Medical Center, an affiliate of Cleveland Clinic, is a private, not-for-profit medical center.
