Ignite Health, a healthcare marketing agency owned by InVentiv Health, announced the acquisition of Syndicated Methods, a mobile development firm based in San Diego.
Ignite announces Syndicated Methods deal
Financial terms of the deal were not immediately available. Michael Smallwood, founder and CEO of Syndicated Methods, will serve as Ignite's vice president of mobile and technology, according to an Ignite news release. He will be based at Ignite Health's headquarters in Irvine, Calif.
MobilePipes, a software framework developed by Syndicated Methods, is included in the deal. The technology is used by developers to create, track and manage mobile software services and application integrations across several devices, according to the release.
In June, InVentiv completed its acquisition of contract research company i3, which previously was owned by UnitedHealth Group's Ingenix, now OptumInsight.
