Consulting firm Sullivan, Cotter and Associates of Chicago has purchased the physician-compensation practice of RSM McGladrey of Minneapolis.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Combined with May's acquisition of Diversified Medical Management—the former healthcare consulting division of McCrory & McDowell in Pittsburgh—Sullivan, Cotter now employs 35 full-time physician consultants, a news release said.
The consultants moving from McGladrey include Tom Dobosenski, managing principal; Wayne Hartley, senior consultant; and Brad Vaudrey, principal.
“We believe that Sullivan, Cotter's deep focus and expertise in the area of physician compensation will prove to be a strong fit for RSM McGladrey's physician compensation practice and its clients,” Mike Stokke, RSM McGladrey's national client service strategy and delivery leader, said in the news release.
